This Policy Reflects the Nature of Engineered Industrial Equipment
All products supplied through KG Lifting Systems are industrial-grade lifting systems configured based on application requirements, load conditions, and structural constraints.
These are not consumer goods and are not eligible for standard retail return policies.
Orders are processed under a quote-first, specification-based model, where system suitability is validated prior to production or shipment.
No Returns on Installed, Used, or Custom Equipment
Returns are not accepted under the following conditions:
- Equipment has been installed, assembled, or used
- Equipment has been exposed to operational loads or site conditions
- Systems configured to customer specifications (custom or semi-custom)
- Modified, altered, or integrated components
- Electrical or motorized lifting equipment once delivered
These restrictions exist due to:
- Safety and liability concerns
- Inability to verify structural integrity after use
- Compliance requirements under OSHA and ANSI standards
Non-Returnable Product Categories
The following product types are strictly non-returnable:
- Gantry cranes (custom or adjustable configurations)
- Jib cranes (wall-mounted or freestanding)
- Overhead lifting systems and workstation cranes
- Hoists (electric or manual) once shipped
- Custom-fabricated components
- OEM-configured lifting assemblies
Order Cancellations
Before Order Processing or Production
Orders may be eligible for cancellation only if all conditions are met:
- Cancellation request is submitted within 24 hours of order confirmation
- Order has not entered production or supplier processing
- No materials have been allocated or fabricated
If approved:
- Administrative or processing fees may apply
- Refunds will be issued minus any incurred costs
After Production or Supplier Release
Orders cannot be canceled once:
- Production has started
- Materials have been cut, fabricated, or allocated
- Supplier has released the order for fulfillment
At this stage, the order is considered committed and non-reversible
Damaged or Defective Equipment (Limited Cases Only)
Claims for damaged or defective equipment are accepted only under strict conditions:
- Damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
- Clear photographic documentation is required
- Original packaging must be retained for inspection
- Equipment must not be installed or used
All claims are subject to:
- Supplier inspection and verification
- Determination of shipping vs manufacturing issue
- Replacement or resolution at supplier discretion
Freight-Related Issues
KG Lifting Systems does not directly handle freight claims but will assist in documentation.
Customer responsibilities:
- Inspect shipment upon delivery
- Note visible damage on Bill of Lading (BOL)
- Report concealed damage within 48 hours
Failure to follow these steps may result in claim denial by the carrier
Incorrect Orders or Mis-Specification
Because all orders are based on submitted specifications:
- Responsibility for accuracy lies with the customer
- KG Lifting Systems does not accept returns due to:
- Incorrect dimensions
- Misidentified application
- Incompatible site conditions
This is why the RFQ and validation process exists:
→ To prevent unsafe or incompatible system selection
Refund Policy
Refunds are not issued for:
- Custom or configured systems
- Orders in production or already shipped
- Installed or used equipment
Refunds (if applicable) are limited to:
- Approved cancellations before processing
- Verified supplier-approved claims
Engineering Validation Disclaimer
All equipment must be:
- Reviewed for structural compatibility
- Installed according to applicable standards
- Verified by qualified personnel prior to use
Final responsibility for installation and usage compliance remains with the buyer.
Policy Enforcement
This policy is strictly enforced due to:
- Safety-critical nature of lifting equipment
- Regulatory compliance requirements
- Supplier manufacturing constraints
- High-value, non-resellable configurations
Need Clarification Before Ordering?
If you are unsure about system suitability:
→ Submit a Request for Quote (RFQ)
→ Provide complete application details
This ensures:
- Correct system selection
- Compliance alignment
- Prevention of costly ordering errors
